social skills turn taking and group work

I am at uni studying speech and language therapy where there are 30 of us. a lot of the time the tutors are at the front and we are all facing them then they ask us our opinions/ knowledge on and area and we are able to take turns to raise anything we have to say. I find turn taking and recognising in this situation when another person has finished talking really heard any tips?

Hello from Idaho

I see some familiar names, so I assume some of you know me already. I'm a doctoral candidate (political science) and simultaneously working on my third undergraduate degree (Spanish. The other two are political science and applied economics) and I love rats, djembes, recreational mathematics, writing, reading, walking in nature, playing with string (textile arts), films, languages (cxu estas aliaj esperantistoj cxi tie?), fruit (especially fresh pineapple. Canned pineapple, however, is vile and inedible), and anything purple, so long as it isn't a smelly shade of purple.
