Hi guys! I've been a member of this site for a while but haven't posted in a long time. I am moving to Boston soon (as soon as section 8 issues me my move voucher which could be like 6 months out) and I wanted to know if there is anyone on here in the Boston area. I currently live in Seattle and have found some adult aspie and autistic groups and have been lucky enough to be a part of that networking for about 3 years now. Wondering if Boston has anything similar? Of course, hasn't helped me out with jobs any but I am of the thought that the more people like me I try to engage with the more likely I am to find some sort of suitable employment wherever I am. Thanks! Also, if there isn't smoe sort of community in Boston I would love to help start something up there.

Hi Chelsea:  AANE (Asperger Association of New England) is located out of Boston.

I just returned from presenting a workshop on cyberbullying at their Fall Conference.  They have various support services and adult groups which you can get involved with locally, and I met some awesome AANE folks whom I've stayed in contact with since the conference.

AANE - 51 Water Street, Suite 206, Watertown, MA 02472 http://www.aane.org

Lianne Holliday Willey is presenting a couple workshops in December for AANE & they are streaming it live via webinar for anyone who can't make it into Boston that weekend. http://conta.cc/vdteX1

Best to you with your move!!
