For anyone in the Boston area. They do this every year...

This is a once a year internship opportunity for anyone looking to get your foot in the door with employment. And you would be directly affecting disability policy and services in the Boston area. The deadline has already passed this year but something to consider for next year. Aspergers IS considered a developmental disability for purposes of this opportunity. (I asked them) I have HFA and they encouraged me to apply next year. I bet they have similar opportunities in other cities too. A great way for someone who has been out of the workforce a while to get back in there or a young person just starting out. At this point, I am very desperate for any kind of work opportunity I can find that is sensitive to autism and disabiity issues. I'm sure some of you can relate.

Thanks. That looks interesting.
It depends exactly what they're thinking for programs on whether I'd have anything I'd be interested in doing with them, but I'll look into it more later on.
