Females of any age who are on the autism spectrum will want to have this book in her library. Aspergirls:  written by Rudy Simone, is without a doubt essential reading for anyone who has a female with Asperger's in their life, including professionally and academically.

Sounds cool. I hope my library gets this soon, i've read just about everything they have on AS and autism!!! And not much of it by or about girls, except for Lianne Holliday Willey's book, and Jen Birch's one.

I'm reading and savoring this book now and so far I've been amazed at how different this is from other books about Asperger's since they have mostly studied men.  Rudy Simone iinterviews women in their 20-50's and then organizes it into topics usually covered in AS texts but as manifested in women. Chapter after chapter I find myself saying "This is me!"  Then she has sections for school age girls and parents.  What a great read!

I really want to eventually get a copy of the book, heard it was good, just really broke and having a hard time making ends meet right now.
