Found out today...

I'm now a mom of two sons on the spectrum, oldest was diagnosed in July 2003, but since the youngest was small, he was in an infant sibling of children with ASD study, I suspected that my youngest would likely be given a dx on the spectrum too. He was provisionally diagnosed with ASD by Dr. Susan Bryson up here in Nova Scotia. We still have to wait on more in-depth eval to see where his development is headed but this is a good start, he's now almost 7 1/2 (on Nov. 21st) and it's been a long wait but it'll finally get him the help he needs and found out that on the WPPSI-III he scored in Superior range on Full Scale, Performance and Verbal IQ areas.

I'm happy to hear you have definitive answers now. It's important & more often than not vital for kiddos to receive early recognition.
