Hello from Idaho
I see some familiar names, so I assume some of you know me already. I'm a doctoral candidate (political science) and simultaneously working on my third undergraduate degree (Spanish. The other two are political science and applied economics) and I love rats, djembes, recreational mathematics, writing, reading, walking in nature, playing with string (textile arts), films, languages (cxu estas aliaj esperantistoj cxi tie?), fruit (especially fresh pineapple. Canned pineapple, however, is vile and inedible), and anything purple, so long as it isn't a smelly shade of purple.
Wow, me too! Isn't synesthesia something?
Hello from California. I don't like mauve either. I don't smell what I see but I did see numbers as colors when I was little.
Welcome Sparrowrose!
...ok, this is an interesting conversation. I have some unique sensory things going on as well. (my teeth tickle when I eat certain foods - I'm extremely texture sensitive!)
I'm really liking this conversation.. (if you guys don't mind, would you feel ok to start a topic on synesthesia over at Heath & Hygiene? I believe this will end up being a huge topic & I'd like to see it get started with a discussion board of it's own.
Click here (I posted the topic already!)
Awesome discussion - let's keep it going!
