Hi, new on the forum

Hi, my name is Lilith.
I live in the Netherlands. I'm a partime student in social work, i also have partime job in social work. It's not easy being a socialworker and having autism, it's very tiring. It's not easy at all.
But because i'm an experienced practitioner, i hope i can influence others with autism to reach their goals in life. Because its very tiring to have conversations, i need time to be alone after every social interaction.
I hope that this forum can give me help and support

Welcome to AWN! I understand what you mean about social work.
I was a Social Worker for almost 6 years, and I loved my work. I felt I was able to influence those with disabilities. Much of my case load was families who had autistic children or disabled adult family members. I would still be doing it, but the branch office closed in our city.
