profile question

when viewing others profiles, it states their info, but the "status" is my info. I figured if it is their profile info, we would be veiwing their status window with the rest of their info, not mine..
If someone has a status, it appears on their profile page below their name and above their picture. You can post your status from the status box on any profile page. I see how that can be confusing. When I get some time, I will rearrange things a little to make them clearer.
