Any other Trekkies on here?? What's your favorite series? Favorite character, episode? TNG and Data for me, I don't know what my favorite episode is.

Oh, I'm old. (Well, 47 ...) I started with the original shows. I'd have to agree with TNG, and Data was a great character. I also am partial to Seven of Nine, although she was on Voyager. All time favorite? Well, Spock of course. Leonard Nimoy. I couldn't even begin to name a favorite episode. Yahoo! Space soap opera!

I am a fan. TNG, DS9 are my two faves; Voyager wasn't too bad either. Hated Enterprise; that series was a disaster.

One episode that stands out for me is a DS9 episode in which Quark protests his mother's budding feminism. Seems she has the gall to put clothes on and walk out in public. The scandal! No, she must stay home buck naked, like a good girl.

I also like the TNG shows when Data confronts his evil twin.

And how can one beat the Tribble episode of the original show? There was a terrific original episode called "Menagerie."  Some of the originals, while campy and unrealistic, were very clever.

My favorite series is, like my psyche teacher, The Next Generation. Our favorite character is Jean Luc Picard (one of the guys in our class thought I'd prefer Riker, lol. Riker's never fought the Borg from inside his own head. Neither has Kirk.). My favorite EP is The Best of Both Worlds (natch.)

I LOVE Spock (I actually like the guy who plays Spock in the 2009 movie better than Leonard Nimoy)!

I liked the classic episode where they landed in 1960s earth where all the adults died from a virus that kept the kids young (where they only aged 1 month for every century they were alive).  The kids called the adults "Grups" = "grown ups".

I really enjoyed the new movie too.

Only just getting into Star Trek as when I used to watch it with Dad as a kid I wasn't really paying any attention.  Now that I've actually properly watched it I LOVE IT!

I also like watching Data deal with his emotion chip in The Next Generation.

Out of all the movies I would say Generations is my favourite - but I also liked the one with the planet Genesis (The Wrath of Khan).

I loved Spock as well as Data but also am a fan of the holographic Doctor in Voyageur though I like TNG and the original series much more than the others. Though I did like the new movie but the older ones before the TNG ones were pretty good. I loved Patrick Stewart though more as a captain then William Shatner though.

Me too!  I am a die hard Trek fan.  My teenagers laugh every time they walk in the room and see me watching an old episode.  They just can't appreciate what the original Sci-Fi shows... that's ok, I can.

My favorite characters are Data, Mr. Spock and Seven-of-Nine. I appreciate their confronting the ambiguities of human existence. I can relate to these characters' outsider status among their "neurotypical" crewmates in whom this awareness is pre-installed.

I'm old enough to remember the ORIGINAL Star Trek!! Boy that does date me. It seems pretty corny now, and sexist even, at times, tho i always loved that it had non-whites and non-Westerners and women in lead roles, it was ahead of its time. Sadly, i didn't have a tv for many years, so was never able to keep up with the newer series, tho i would have loved to. I also loved the recent Star Trek movie.

A point of interest, for me as a Kiwi - the guy who played the young Dr McCoy in that movie was a Kiwi actor.

I liked all the series but didn't watch too much of Voyager.  My favorite was the episode of TNG where Robin Lefler had all the rules for living.  For me, Rule 36 was always "You gotta go with what works."  Imagine my surprise when I discovered Urban Dictionary.Innocent

I'd say TNG was my favorite, but there are some of the TOS episodes I liked as well. "Mirror, Mirror" is my favorite TOS episode.

When it comes to TNG, I'd say "Genesis", "Where No One Has Gone Before" (the first one with the Traveler), "A Matter of Honor" (Riker in the exchange program aboard the Klingon vessel), "Firstborn", "The Emissary", "The Offspring", and "Measure of a Man".

My favorite characters, hands down, are Data and Troi because I see a little of myself in them. I also like Spock, Worf, Riker, and Picard.

Of the movies, I'd have to say 4 (the Journey Home), 8 (First Contact), and 9 (Insurrection) are my favorites.

I started watching TOS when I was 9 years old, and I've always loved Spock! I have even created a series of short stories about a character I created that I could totally identify with. This character is Spock's sister (imagine what life would be like for a female half human/half Vulcan).

My favorite TOS episodes are: "Journey to Babel", "Naked Time", "Amok Time", and anything else that reveals Spock's inner struggles and personality.
