Charlotte, I'm not in the UK but I'm doing a uni course - masters of science in horticulture. I'm doing it part time, which is hard, as I don't form any bonds with other students; and, also I've just had to register with my uni's disability support unit. It allows the uni to allow me to sit my exams in a room by myself. It also means my lecturers are notified of my autism issues. I also feel alone. I would really love another 'horticulture' friend. Someone with whom I can talk, ring up, have lunch with etc. but the autism doesn't help. I do come across as different.
